Edging profiles


Edge profiles are suitable for finishing sharp edges or edges. They can also provide a good seal by, for example, a bead or flap on the top or side. By means of an internal thin plastic or metal insert and the shape of the edge profile, a firm clamping can be obtained.

Edge profile with flap

These sealing profiles have a dual function. They are used to finish edges and also to seal gaps. The moss rubber flap is flexible and specially manufactured to close doors and hatches.

These sealing profiles have a dual function, namely finishing edges and closing gaps. The profiles usually consist of PVC with a very flexible moss rubber bead or sphere, but profiles in EPDM and silicone are also possible.

Silicone edge profile is available in different shapes, all kinds of colors, varying clamping range and with or without stainless steel wire insert. This material is highly heat-resistant, up to 200C, and can be produced according to FDA standards for the food or medicine industry, for example.

TPE edging profiles with plastic inlay (POM)

These edge profiles are lighter than metal-based profiles and another advantage is that no metal corrosion and/or oxidation will occur over time. Due to the plastic insert, the profile is non-conductive.
